Reduction in NCI Maintained Strains/Stocks

The 7 strains listed below will no longer be maintained by NCI for distribution through the Animal Production Program. These strains will be cryopreserved before eliminating the current breeding colonies.

• SencarA/PtCr

• LOU/MNCr

The 5 strains/stocks listed below are currently still offered for distribution through the Animal Production Program but will be phased out with in the next year to 18 months.  These strains/stocks will be cryopreserved before eliminating the current breeding colonies.

• C3H/HeNCr nu/nu
  
• Cr:NGP(S)
  
• Cr:NIH-BL(S)
