NCI-Frederick Research Donor Program
DONOR COMPENSATION AND PROJECT CHARGE-BACK INFORMATION
Research Donor Program volunteers are compensated for their time and inconvenience. The cost of donor compensation is charged to each requesting Investigator's center number. Compensation for buccal cell, urine, and nail clipping donations will be $20 per sample. Compensation for semen donations will be $40 per sample.
Human blood donors are compensated depending upon the amount of their donation. Investigators requesting human blood samples will incur an additional charge for viral screening reagents. Compensation and reagent costs will be charged according to the following schedule:
