The goal of the festival is to acquaint our neighbors, both scientist and citizen, with the basic nature of our research, the discoveries we have made, and the challenges we face in the fight against cancer, AIDS and infectious diseases that may be a threat to US citizens around the world.

The Spring Research Festival is open to all in the NIH and the Fort Detrick communities as well as the public.
