A Distinguished Career Service
Award may be granted annually to an SAIC-Frederick, Inc. employee
with at least ten years of service at the NCI-Frederick and Bethesda
campuses who has, throughout the course of his/her career, improved
the quality of science and/or the work environment at the NCI-Frederick/Bethesda
campuses.
Please note: There are two (2) awards in this category: 1) Scientific and 2) Administrative
or Infrastructure Support |

The Norman P. Salzman Mentoring award may be granted annually to an SAIC-Frederick, Inc., scientist who most personifies Dr. Salzman’s lifetime commitment to the guidance and direction of others in the pursuit of scientific excellence. Nominees for this award may be from any area of science. |

a special project, outstanding site visit, organization of specific
research-related event, or a cost saving discovery or procedure.
