POLICY AND PROCEDURE MANUAL
POLICY
The Policy and Procedure Manual for the National Cancer Institute-Frederick
(NCI-Frederick) provides general guidelines in the form of stated management
principles, precepts, and standards; and, delineates the procedures for successful
interaction of the operating contractors and the Government. The policies,
procedures, and responsibilities set forth herein represent a unified approach
to achieving contract objectives and overall operating efficiency.
PROCEDURE
Operating contractors are responsible for maintaining constant awareness and
adherence to NCI-Frederick Policies and Procedures. Upon recognition of a need
for a policy, any contractor can make a request to the Government. The NCI
will review, issue for comment, and coordinate the inclusion of policies into
the NCI-Frederick Policy and Procedure Manual. Only the NCI can promulgate
policy.
RESPONSIBILITIES
NCI-Frederick Contractors:
Assure adherence to all policies, procedures, and responsibilities set forth
in the NCI-Frederick Policy and Procedure Manual.
